Who We Are
We opened in 2001, but our story begins long before that
Our educational philosophy is anchored by Dr. Maria Montessori’s proven methods and ideals. Her view of children as independent, capable, unique human beings worthy of our love, respect, and trust remains as revolutionary today as when she started in 1907. This view guides our partnership with your child from the first day of school to the last.
Founded by the Theriot family in 2001, the concept of family has always defined not just what we do but who we are as an organization. A child’s enrollment in an authentic Montessori school should be an experience for the entire family. One, which helps parents to grow along with the child.

We are unique in Loudoun for many reasons, not the least of which is our faculty of master teachers. We are family owned and operated and many of us have been here for 20 years or more. Our purpose-built facility offers the ideal authentic Montessori environment and you’ll love our 3-acre wooded campus.
Available Programs
Half, Full and Extended-day Programs for All Ages
Nido: 10 wks. – 18 mo.
There is no better experience than witnessing the pure joy of a young child.
Early Montessori:
16 mo. – 3 yrs.
The word “Toddler” doesn’t do it justice, so we call it “Early Montessori.”
Primary: 3 – 6 yrs.
The balanced, mixed-age group creates endless possibilities for every child.
Elementary: 6 – 9 yrs
The elementary child has embarked on a life-long journey to find his or her place in the world.
All Day Children's House:
3 - 6 yrs
