2022 Summer Program Enrollment PRIMARY / KINDERGARTEN Summer Montessori offers a continuation of the foundational elements of our authentic Montessori program. This Summer, our theme will be "Colors of the World." Each week's activities will be infused with the colors that make up our world. Once again, we'll be spending a lot of time in the great outdoors. We’ll start each day with a morning hike either around the neighborhood or along our newly created nature trails, where nature provides us with hands-on learning and new experiences. Our expansive children’s house includes a full children’s kitchen for inventive cooking and a re-designed outdoor space, which we’ll use for gardening, creative outdoor art, science experimentation and water fun, movement/dance, bicycle/trike day and more. Being outside in sunlight, breathing in the fresh air of our wooded space and gardens is healthy and strengthens the child's physical connection with nature. We continue to provide a warm, nurturing, comfortable place which supports the individual developmental needs of each infant. Just like the older students, we’ll take advantage of the Summer weather, our shady wooded playground and the wonderful green spaces of the Belmont Greene neighborhood.
